Adam Clare develops and manages Nightingale’s online communities, currently focusing on the interactive web based series Do You Believe Me? Adam’s role is to develop and roll out 5 online properties over the next 12 months.
Adam Clare is an experienced online community facilitator and game designer. As a co-founder of TorGame he was responsible of the creation, testing, and deployment of every puzzle in TorGame: Waking City – a story-driven game based in the real world. As the Puzzle Master, Adam ensured puzzles had logical causes, solutions at visible effects while monitoring plot outcomes closely. Puzzles were incorporated into the plot and narrative seamlessly, making TorGame: Waking City the next generation of alternate reality game.
In 2005 Adam founded ThingsAreGood.com, which he continues to run; the site currently has over 50,000 regular readers and growing. Adam is currently working with TakingITGlobal where he is the Lead Editor of the Digital Divide Network (digitaldivide.net), a website of educators, technologists, and people actively engaged in bridging the digital divide globally. In 2006, Adam was the English Editor and Community Facilitator of telecentre.org, a site designed to engage the worldwide operators of self-sustaining internet cafes.
Adam studied politics and history at Trent University, and is currently working towards his Masters in Education from the University of Toronto.
