Shain Jaffe

Chairman

Shain Jaffe is Chairman of The Nightingale Company where he has responsibility for the Company’s strategic and long term planning.

He brings an extensive background in the entertainment and publishing industry spanning over thirty years in Senior Management positions. For the past two years he has served as Chairman of The Nightingale Company.  Prior, he was Head of Literary for seventeen years at Great North Artists Management Inc, where he directed senior client representation and management.  He was responsible for the hit Broadway Musical the Drowsy Chaperone, Back Alley Films’ television series Durham County, and the international development and exploitation of the property TAMARA.

Previously, he was Head of Programming at C Channel, the original Canadian arts and entertainment pay television network. He was an associate publisher at Saturday Night Magazine and producer of over one hundred stage productions at Theatre Passe Muraille, Toronto Free Theatre and other alternative theatres.
